Event Description
*Please note that while the core courtroom technology overview will remain consistent across both programs, portions of this session may be tailored to the presenters’ practice backgrounds and anticipated audience.
Held in a Lancaster County courtroom, this program will give legal professionals real time exposure to the new technology being installed in Lancaster County courtrooms. Presenters Travis Anderson, First Assistant District Attorney, and Luke Weber, a medical malpractice defense trial attorney, will explain what technology will be available, how it works, and how it may be used during hearings and trials.
Designed for attorneys, paralegals, and legal staff, the program will take the guesswork out of using courtroom technology before attendees need to rely on it in practice. Participants will learn courtroom expectations, housekeeping considerations, and practical tips for connecting, displaying, presenting, and troubleshooting in real time. The goal is to help legal professionals feel prepared, confident, and fully equipped before the screen decides to test everyone’s patience.
The program may also address legal and practical considerations related to digital evidence, including how to mark, file, present, and use digital materials in court.
