Sections, Committees, and Divisions

The LBA’s Sections, Committees, and Divisions offer members the opportunity to meet and collaborate with other attorneys interested in similar practice areas and topics. Sections, Committees, and Divisions are communities intended to support and engage members of the LBA as attorneys and individuals. They also provide an opportunity for professional development and for members to hold leadership positions.

Happy Hours and Social Events

LBA members are invited to attend a variety of happy hours and social events where they can meet other members of the legal community and create lasting relationships. Other than happy hours, events include trivia nights, movie nights, holiday parties, and various other events.

Service & Volunteerism

The LBA partners with nonprofit organizations in Lancaster County to offer pro bono and volunteer opportunities to our members. These opportunities help our members use their skills to give back to the community.

LBA members receive the Lancaster Law Review via email every week, providing information on significant legal matters in Lancaster County, job postings, and updates from the LBA.

Sent three times a year to LBA members, In Brief magazine includes updates from the association, articles covering member profiles, legal updates, and pictures from recent events.

The Bar Beat

Sent on the 1st and 15th of each month, The Bar Beat is an email newsletter that offers news and resources for members to stay informed about recent developments in Lancaster’s legal community.
