Lawyer Referral Service – Lancaster Bar Association

The Lancaster Bar Association’s Lawyer Referral Service can connect you with a Lancaster Bar Association member attorney who handles your type of legal matter.

The service costs $50 and includes a referral to an attorney and a 30-minute consultation.

Important Information

Call: (717) 393-0737 and select “Lawyer Referral Service.”
Hours: Monday–Thursday, 9:00 am–4:00 pm. The service is closed Fridays.
Phone only: The Lancaster Bar Association does not have attorneys on staff and does not provide legal advice.
$50 fee: The fee must be paid before we begin the referral process. It includes the referral and a 30-minute consultation with the attorney.
Additional legal services: During your consultation, the attorney will explain their rates and payment procedures. The attorney will charge their regular rates for any legal services beyond the initial 30-minute consultation.

Please note: The Lawyer Referral Service is not a free or reduced-fee legal service.

The Lawyer Referral Service connects individuals with Lancaster Bar Association member attorneys.

This is a paid service. A $50 fee is required before we make your referral. The $50 fee includes:

A referral to a Lancaster Bar Association member attorney; andA 30-minute consultation with that attorney.

The attorney will charge their regular rates for any legal services beyond the initial 30-minute consultation.
