The Lancaster Bar Association’s Lawyer Referral Service can connect you with a Lancaster Bar Association member attorney who handles your type of legal matter.

The service costs $50 and includes a referral to an attorney and a 30-minute consultation.

Hours: Monday–Thursday, 9:00 am–4:00 pm. The service is closed Fridays.

Before You Submit Your Request

The Lawyer Referral Service connects individuals with Lancaster Bar Association member attorneys who handle a variety of legal matters.

This is a paid service. A $50 LRS fee is required before a referral is made. The $50 fee includes: (1) A referral to a LBA member attorney who handles your type of legal matter; and (2) a 30-minute initial consultation with that attorney. During your consultation, the attorney will explain their rates and payment procedures. The attorney will charge their regular rates for any legal services beyond the initial 30-minute consultation.

The $50 fee does not cover legal services beyond the initial 30-minute consultation. If you and the attorney decide that you need additional legal services, the attorney will discuss their fees and payment arrangements with you directly.

The Lawyer Referral Services does not provide free or reduced-fee legal services or free legal advice. LBA staff members are not attorneys and cannot provide legal advice.
