ABOUT THE COURSE

This Defensive Driving Course equips drivers with the skills to recognize and respond to hazardous driving situations. The instructor-led, classroom-based program focuses on:

Collision prevention strategies
Defensive driving techniques
Behavior, judgment, and decision-making

The course is designed to promote positive changes in driving attitudes and behaviors, encouraging respectful, lawful, and safety-conscious decisions. These strategies aim to reduce traffic violations and prevent motor vehicle incidents.

ABOUT THE COURSE

The Alive at 25® program addresses these critical issues head-on by empowering young drivers, aged 16 to 24, to make safe, respectful, and legal driving decisions. This highly interactive course focuses on increasing awareness of roadway risks, understanding factors inside and outside a driver’s control, and making choices that lead to safer outcomes.

The 4-hour course is an excellent fit for high school students, young adults in college, or individuals referred by traffic courts following traffic violations. By targeting the unique challenges faced by young drivers, this program helps reduce accidents, save lives, and create safer roads for everyone.
