Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Programs

Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Programs

At the LBA, we offer multiple Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Programs that provide effective ways to resolve conflicts outside of the traditional courtroom setting. What makes ADR unique is that it requires the agreement of all parties involved before they can participate, ensuring voluntary participation and the acceptance of any decisions made during the process.

  1. Attorney Fee Dispute Resolution: This program is designed for individuals who dispute a fee being charged by his or her attorney. Whether you have already paid these fees or are currently being billed, we can assist you in attempting to resolve the dispute fairly.

Attorney Fee Dispute Resolution Client's Questionnaire

To begin the Attorney Fee Dispute Resolution process, we have a questionnaire specifically designed for clients like you. By filling it out, you can provide us with the necessary information to proceed with the resolution of your fee-related concerns.

  1. Arbitration and Mediation: As alternatives to going to court, we also provide arbitration and mediation services to help parties involved in a dispute reach a mutually agreeable solution. Both processes are generally less expensive than litigation and offer a more relaxed and informal environment.
  • Arbitration: Through arbitration, a neutral third party will listen to both sides of the dispute and make a binding decision that all parties must abide by.
  • Mediation: In mediation, a mediator facilitates discussions between the disputing parties, helping them find common ground and reach a voluntary agreement.
