Event Description
Matt will explain how the Office of Disciplinary Counsel (“ODC”) prosecutes matters and discuss strategies in defending the same. Participants will learn what and what not to do when faced with a disciplinary complaint. Matt will also provide examples of cases that he has handled in the past to highlight what the attorneys did that caught ODC’s attention as common mistakes include improper handling of client funds, lack of diligence/competence in handling cases, and insufficient communication with clients.
