Event Description
“Practice before the PRHC” offers attorneys an in-depth look at the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission and the anti-discrimination laws that the agency enforces. The course will provide an overview of the PHRC’s investigation, mediation, public hearing and appeal processes. The course will also cover best practices for representing clients before the PHRC and current trends the PHRC is observing.

Stacy McNaney, Esquire
Assistant Chief Counsel, Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission Harrisburg Regional Office
Stacy McNaney is an Assistant Chief Counsel at the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission. She is responsible for prosecuting discrimination complaints in the areas of employment, housing, education and public accommodations. Stacy is a public servant at heart. Prior to joining the PHRC, she represented low-income clients in consumer law matters as a Staff Attorney at the Legal Aid Society of the District of Columbia. Stacy received her law degree from the George Washington University Law School, where she participated in clinical programs and internships that solidified her commitment to public interest work.
