Event Description

Facts win cases, but to establish the facts you need to effectively present the testimony of your witnesses. This process starts early – well in advance of trial – and requires a litigator to think through why each witness’ testimony is important and how each witness’ testimony will fit into the broader trial presentation. In this CLE, a current state prosecutor and a former federal prosecutor will walk you through preparing a witness for testimony at various stages of a litigation, whether that be in a deposition, a preliminary hearing, or a trial, so that you can be sure that your witnesses are effective communicators, avoid common mistakes, and ultimately, help you win your case.
