LLF Grants
The following organizations have been selected as recipients of the 2024 Lancaster Law Foundation grants:
- Bench Mark Program ($5,000) - Awarded for an expansion of their Street Law Legal Life Skills to their new Suspension Alternative Program within McCaskey High School.
- CASA of Lancaster County ($10,000) – Awarded for the development and implementation of a Preventative Advocacy Pilot Program.
- Lancaster Bar Association ($5,000) - Awarded for the establishment of a Translation Access Program.
- Lititz Chooses Love ($10,000) – Awarded for the establishment and implementation of Legal Name Change Clinics.
- MidPenn Legal Services ($15,000) - Awarded for a Family Law Attorney for the Safe at Home Program.
- YWCA Lancaster ($10,000)– Awarded for their Legal Advocacy Project.
- Zion Community Services ($10,000) – Awarded for their Lancaster County Pardon Project.
As the philanthropic arm of the Lancaster Bar Association, a professional organization consisting of almost 800 judges, attorneys, and legal professionals in Lancaster, the Lancaster Law Foundation is dedicated to funding public interest law projects, delivering pro bono service, and educating the public on civic and legal issues. Through grant programs, community partnerships, and advocacy efforts, the Foundation works to expand access to legal services and education for underserved populations.
