DESCRIPTION:
Beginning January 1, 2025, Pennsylvania will require annual reporting (the “Annual Report”) for certain domestic and foreign business entities. This will replace the previous and longstanding decennial report requirement. This new Annual Report requirement is a significant change for Pennsylvania.  Similar to other states, failure to file the annual report will subject the association to administrative dissolution/termination/cancellation and loss of the protection of its name. This CLE will cover the Rule, what entities it applies to, what must be reported, the deadlines for reporting, and what law firms should be doing to ensure they and their clients are in compliance.
