Ben Grimes brings an expansive background in military service, legal practice, and academic teaching to address the unique challenges and transitions lawyers face. His 20-year journey from being a UH-60 Blackhawk helicopter pilot to becoming a decorated military attorney gave him a deep understanding of the complexities and stresses inherent in legal the complex requirements and stresses of legal practice. After retiring from the Army, Ben has focused on continuing both his public service and his service to the legal community.

Recognizing the critical challenges of attorneys—especially those stepping into greater responsibilities and facing career transitions—Ben offers tailored support that transcends traditional coaching. His deep involvement in legal education, currently, as a Lecturer in Law for Columbia Law School, provides him with the experience to meet clients where they are and to guide them as they navigate their unique challenges.
