This CLE will focus on the latest developments in firearms case law. We will delve into the recent decisions from the Supreme Court of the United States. These pivotal decisions have significantly influenced the legal landscape surrounding firearms regulations and individual rights under the Second Amendment. Attendees will gain a thorough understanding of the case's background, the Supreme Court's ruling, and its subsequent impact on both federal and state levels.

Chris Miller, Esquire
Assistant District Attorney at the Lancaster County District Attorney's Office

Chris Miller is an Assistant District Attorney in Lancaster County, PA., where he is the Chief of the general trial unit. He is also a liaison to the SERT/SWAT team and fatal crash unit. Prior to becoming a DA, Chris was a public defender in Philadelphia. Chris graduated from Elizabethtown College and received his J.D. from Drexel University School of Law. Chris also holds a Masters degree in Forensic & Criminalistic Science from Drexel University's School of Medicine. He has taught numerous courses and CLE’s on expert testimony, trial advocacy, and evidence in the Commonwealth as well as law schools such as Hofstra, Rutgers and Emory. Chris has also taught courses related to DUI and the drugged driver throughout the Commonwealth and is certified in conducting Standardized Field Sobriety Tests. Chris has trained law enforcement in presenting blood spatter, courtroom testimony, and has taught CLE’s for the Maryland Office of the Public Defender. Chris has also taught courses for the National Institute for Trial Advocacy for over a decade.
