More and more cases are going to mediation today. Many of these mediations are voluntary, but many are court ordered. Regardless of how the cases get to mediation, thorough preparation for mediation is essential to the potential for success. Invaluable to the process are the pre-mediation efforts of the parties, counsel and the mediator. This CLE will focus on what is required of all participants before and during mediation to get the best results for the parties, including a possible resolution of the pending conflict.
