Gearty Law is a general practice law firm located in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. We handle cases in a wide variety of areas of law, but our major areas of focus are: family law and criminal defense.  We are looking for a full-time associate attorney. This position would include carrying a caseload and handling cases from start to finish. Some responsibilities would include: client intake and consultation, drafting of various pleadings, research, court appearances, and trial work.  We are especially looking for someone that has experience in an area of law that the firm does not currently service so we can add to the areas of law covered. Prior experience or interest in bankruptcy, estate planning, worker’s compensation, business law, employment law, or other areas of law is preferred, but not necessarily required. Our plan is to assist this candidate in developing a caseload in those areas of law that we do not currently service.
