The Paralegal will be responsible for general administration of customer contracts, subcontracts, and other associated documents. This position maintains hard copy and electronic/cloud database of contracts, including management of amendments and changes; generates correspondence documentation as necessary; manages delivery and execution of form template contracts to subcontractors and others; performs initial review of standard contracts and some non-standard contracts under the direction of the Director Contracts Management as necessary (some level of negotiation may be required); tracks contract status and issues routine reports; initiates surety bonds relevant to contract process, establishes and maintains bid files, and creates subcontract agreements as required. This position is also responsible for direct administrative support to Director of Contract Management. Skills/Qualifications: Incumbent must hold a high school diploma. Bachelors or Associates degree preferred. Paralegal Certification is required. Must have understanding of basic contracting principles. Excellent PC skills with a strong understanding of Windows, Microsoft and Adobe-based software applications is critical to this position, including the effective use of the Internet. Excellent written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills are imperative. This position requires the individual to be well organized, attentive to detail and capable of handling multiple projects concurrently.
